SINT-PIETERS-LEEUW - Cultuurprijs voor Gaston Coppye

De tweejaarlijkse cultuurprijs van Sint-Pieters-Leeuw ging naar Gaston Coppye. De laureaat was van 1973 tot 2012 hoornist bij de Filharmonie van Antwerpen. In de streek dirigeerde hij ook tal van muziekmaatschappijen.
Bij de prijsuitreiking zegde voorzitter Hubert Avaux dat hij de Leeuwenaren leerde zingen
Momenteel is Gaston nog dirigent bij Sint-Jozef Dworp, Muziekvereniging Sint-Cecilia Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, het Alaudakoor en Sint-Michel Ter Lanen.
